Emergent to Showcase Machine Vision Camera Demos at ITE Yokohama 2023
See the latest in high-speed machine vision cameras and imaging technologies in booth 89 at ITE Yokohama from December 6-8. At the technical exhibition in Yokohama, Japan, Emergent will showcase several demonstrations featuring its zero-data-loss, turnkey imaging technologies, including high-speed cameras, software, and network interface cards.
Turnkey High-Performance Camera Systems Available Now
Emergent is more than just high-speed cameras. We can integrate and ship turnkey high-performance, high-speed imaging systems consisting of multiple cameras, multiple servers, GPUs, FPGA cards, SSDs, switches, and more; all designed to custom specification. The turnkey systems can be used for general deployment in the field or to test the performance and even prototype custom GPU algorithms such as AI/inference, pattern matching, 3D reconstruction, Gaussian Splatting, H.265, and more. In addition, users can work with saved images from software such as NERF (neural radiance fields), RealityCapture, Theia Markerless, Agisoft, etc for applications in volumetric capture, metaverse, and motion capture. For completely custom solutions, users can deploy our eSDK with all the same performance benefits.
See a high-speed demonstration that leverages our 24.47MP HB-25000-SB 25GigE camera, which features the Sony IMX530 Pregius S sensor and reaches 98fps. In the demo, the 25GigE camera compares printed circuited board assemblies moving on a rotating assembly (PCBA) to a reference pattern at 60fps. The camera will be paired with GPUDirect technology to transfer images directly to GPU memory and make a successful pattern match in less than 15ms. NVIDIA GPUDirect technology, which can be deployed in our award-winning eCapture Pro software, delivers zero-data-loss imaging with zero CPU utilization and zero memory bandwidth.

100GigE Camera and eCapture Pro Software Demo
Check out our 21MP HZ-21000-G 100GigE camera in action alongside a single-port PZ-100 100GigE network interface card (NIC) capturing a 12cm fan in free run or triggered mode to get a look at how our powerful 100GigE technology might benefit your application. The 100GigE camera is based on Gpixel’s GSPRINT4512 CMOS image sensor and can reach speeds of 542fps in 8-bit mode at full resolution.
Emergent will showcase a 3D reconstruction demonstration featuring two HB-12000-SB 25GigE cameras working with a dual-port PH-25-DUAL 25GigE NIC and eCapture Pro software to perform a 3D reconstruction of a figurine on a turntable. The 25GigE camera features the 12.4MP Sony Pregius S IMX535 and reaches speeds of 192fps.

2.5MP HZ-2000-G 100GigE Camera
Equipped with the industry’s fastest interface (100GigE QSFP28), the Zenith HZ-2000-G 100GigE camera features the 2.5MP Gpixel GSPRINT4502 CMOS image sensor and reaches 3462fps. In addition to supporting cable lengths up to 10KM, the 100GigE camera delivers zero loss image transport, absolute minimum CPU utilization, memory bandwidth, latency, and jitter.
Our Zenith HZ-10000-G 100GigE camera features Gpixel’s 10MP GSPRINT4510 CMOS sensor and reaches 1000fps at full resolution. A winner of a 2022 NAB Product of the Year in the cameras category, the 100GigE camera supports cable lengths up to 10KM while delivering zero loss image transport, absolute minimum CPU utilization, memory bandwidth, latency, and jitter.

eCapture Pro Software
Our eCapture Pro recording and reconstruction software provides end users with a graphic interface for easy system integration, with no software coding or system design knowledge needed. A 2022 NAB Product of the Year award winner in the Camera Support, Control, and Accessories category, eCapture Pro also offers complete project management, camera setting flexibility, advanced preview and recording capabilities, synchronized capture to microsecond accuracy, and calibration, background, and production take management capabilities. In addition, the software now supports GPUDirect, H.265 and H.264 video codecs, and RTMP (real-time messaging protocol).
All of Emergent’s high-speed GigE Vision cameras are RDMA ready, so a firmware upgrade away from supporting remote direct memory access (RDMA) and RDMA over Converged Ethernet (RoCE), the user diagram protocol (UDP) over Ethernet called GVSP (GigE Vision streaming protocol), as well as FPGA cards, zero-copy image transfer, and GPUDirect technologies.
